Rochester Public Schools provides a free developmental screening for any child 3 years old to kindergarten enrollment. 

At your child’s screening we’ll help connect you with resources in Rochester to help your child prepare for school! 

The screening staff will check your child's vison, hearing, developmental skills, immunization status, and growth.

The State of Minnesota requires all children to complete a developmental screening before entering public kindergarten programs.
