Hawthorne Education Center program combines adult literacy, parent education, and early childhood education into one program. This program provides education opportunities for both the adult and child/children, between birth and kindergarten, who are enrolled.
To qualify, a family must:
Have an income that would qualify for the free or reduced lunch program
Have a child or children under kindergarten age.
Have a parent who is interested in and qualifies for the English as a Second Language, GED, or College/Training programs at Hawthorne Education Center.
